I didn't really have to do anything with this window, but clean it up. There is an awesome antique store in Marion(just 9 miles from Hillsboro) where I found this little gem. I have been wanting an old window for a long time and finally found one I loved!!
Super easy fabric covered wood frame. All I did was take a piece of scrap wood staple some fabric and glue on a picture! I'm totally in love with Chevron prints right now.
My wine cork board ruler. All I did was take a yard stick hot glue wine corks on and nailed it to the wall! I have this hanging above my desk in the kitchen for little reminders. Lance mentioned for as much wine as I drink I could probably make a thousand of these things:) He is just too funny.
Another board frame.
I took scrap 2x4's sprayed painted them and then use Mod Podge to glue on the pictures.
I want to cut this one in two so I can stack them like little blocks! Great pictures of one of my favorite families,
the Doornbos family.
Here is a side table I painted, I'm not sure I like it yet so it may be repainted in the near future.
This is one of my favorite projects, my floor mirror!! I bought a cheap mirror form Walmart and three 1x8 boards. Lance measured, cut and put the boards together for me. I need to really learn to use some power tools besides the sander. I then stained the boards and Lance secured the mirror on the back!! Ta Da a floor mirror!!
Here is my china cabinet. I painted it white when I first got it and then decided it needed a litlte color. Well I'm not sure I like this color either, so it also may be getting repainted. I'll post some more pic's when I finish it AGAIN.
My little craft room stool. I got it from Walmart spray painted it green and added some fabric on top! Easy peasy!
My last project is my rocking chair. I found this at the Marion antique store as well, they have super fun stuff. If anyone is near Marion on a Saturday's you should totally check out Barely Making It Antique shop. They also have a big barn outside of town full of furniture and all kinds of treasures. If you have ever watched American Pickers they went to this barn on their show, awesome stuff!!
All I did to the chair was stain it a darker color. Lance was surprised I didn't paint it, but I figured I have a lot of painted furniture it might be nice to have a simple piece as well.
I have about a million other project I want to get started, but I'm done for now or at least for today!
I LOVE all of it!! Come to my house next please :)
