Lilah and I went to the Zoo on Tuesday!! I have never been to Sunset Zoo before, it's ok, but a little small. When I told Lance it was just ok, the first thing he asked was it better then the Great Bend Zoo? The Sunset Zoo has a few monkey's, a couple of Tiger's, cheetah's, hyena's, peacock's, and few other animals that are native to Kansas. On my way into the Zoo a peacock was running around on it's own with it's feather's all up squawking. If you haven't ever heard a peacock squawk, it's extremely loud. So Lilah and I had to off road it a little to get around him, I was a little freaked out it was going to attack us. Lilah didn't even seem to notice any of the animals, maybe a little too young for the zoo still. By the end of the trip we were checking out a wolf, and a huge black snake came slithering across the sidewalk. I'm not sure really where it came from, but it also creeped me out. I'm just glad Lance wasn't with us, he is terrified of snakes.
I tried to get a picture of him, but I couldn't get my camera ready in time.

Later that evening Mika, Jay, Betsy and Bradley stopped by for dinner!!
