Lilah went to her 9 month check up today and she is finally growing some inches. Forever she was in the low percentile of height. I do have a hunch, just looking at where she comes from she won't have the word tall in her future.
Here are her heights and weights from day 1:
Birth: 7lbs 10 oz 20in
Month One: 8lbs
Month Two: 9lbs 12oz 22.23in
Month Three: 13 lbs
Month Four: 14lbs 6oz 23.8in
Month Five: (we didn't weigh her, oops)
Month Six: 16lbs 5oz 25in
Month Seven: 18lbs
Month Eight: ( also forgot to weigh her)
Month Nine: 19lbs 11oz 27in
Everything else went well at the doctor today! We were given the ok to start finger foods, even though she started about a week ago being able to pick things up on her own and feed herself. Every food stage gives me a little anxiety, but I'm looking forward to experimenting with new textures and new foods with Lilah!
I agree, Johnna! I've given Cal some tiny bits of fruit and he always gags when I introduce new foods or textures. I stress myself out while I watch him like a hawk until he swallows the tiny bite! I bet Lilah won't have any problems, especially since she's seeking out food to pick up on her own.
