A Few Little Facts

Thanks to Callie, I have something to blog about!  

I was tagged as part of a "Get to Know You" series for bloggers. In order to participate, you're supposed to share 11 things about yourself, and then answer the 11 questions that the blogger wants to know about you.(by the way Callie I just copied and pasted this part from you:)


11 Things about me:


1. I love to cook!! Lance is a bit surprised, but I cook every night he is home. He did point out that he is only home two nights a week, but still it's a home cooked meal 2 nights a week!


2. I love to grocery shop. I make a list and go once a week on Sunday's. It's kind of my little time away that I get to myself every week! 


3. I love to travel. I hope I can travel oversea's one day!!


4. I love a good grilled cheese, probably my favorite meal!! My favorite all time grilled cheese is from So Long Saloon with fries!! YUM, especially with a bud light draft for a starter:)


5. If I could spend any amount of money all the time, I would spend it on pampering myself. I love manicures, pedicures, facials or anything along those lines!!


6. I love animals. I wish I could rescue all the animals in the shelters and give them homes!!


7. I can't sleep with my closet doors open and I need a fan on.


8. Dreams creep me out. 


9. I wish I knew more about history, geography and politics. I guess it's never too late to learn!


10. I like to collect a rock from every where I have traveled too!


11. I took piano lessons forever growing up and I wish I had a piano at home. I would need some practice though, I'm not even for sure I could still read music.


Now for the question's from Callie:


1. Favorite moment in College? 
Wow, I could write a book about this question. I loved Taco's Thursday's. Porter's had 50 cent taco's and cheap beer. Us girls didn't need an excuse to visit Aggieville, but this helped. Sometime's we went for lunch and would end up staying for dinner taco's as well. I do believe a couple of time's we took a deck of cards and played drinking games all afternoon. We need to have a Taco Thursday reunion!!


2. Have you ever bought anything from Etsy?
 Nope. Looked on the website a few times, but never have bought anything.


3. Favorite Pinterest project or recipe? 
I would have to say my pretzels bites that I took to tailgates this year. Just melt Hershey's kisses onto tiny twist pretzels (275 degrees, 3 minutes), remove, and immediately press a single M&M; on each. Refrigerate until solid. 


4. What is your favorite sound? 
Lilah's giggle!! 


5. If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for? 
 It would have to be an outdoor party, I hate making a mess inside. Maybe a big 4th of July party would be fun!! It would be for family and friends with BBQ type food, good snack food and ice cold beer!! 


6. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
I pretty much don't see me as anything else but Johnna. 


7. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
I have never been told I look like a celebrity before. I wish people told me I looked like Jennifer Aniston or something like that though!!


8. What’s the worst gift you’ve ever received?
I honestly don't know. Maybe a parking ticket? I hate parking tickets.


9. What story does your family always tell about you?
I'm sure there are betters ones then this one, but this came to mind.  When I was a baby my Mom had me sitting by the Christmas tree or something along that lines. She must of left the room and when she came back the tree had fallen on me. She said I didn't cry or anything, but she called my Dad right away to get home to help her. I guess maybe that is why I love Christmas trees SO much!


10. If you won a shopping spree of your choice, what store would you choose?
Oh gosh, this is a hard one for me. I would have to choose Pottery Barn.  I love home furnishings, bedding, dishes, rugs, curtains and decorations. Dillard's, gap or Anthropologie would be a close second, I could use a new wardrobe!! Wait maybe Target, that way I could get home furnishings and clothes!!
